<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and highly reliable induction heating cooker which can control a high frequency current supplied to heating means by reliably and promptly detecting boiling over on a top plate from a heated object. <P>SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker comprises: a top plate 10 provided with top plate coating 20 on a top face and on which a heated object 30 is placed; heating means 3 arranged below the top plate 10 for heating the heating object 30; a drive circuit supplying a high frequency current to the heating means 3; an operation control part 7 for controlling the drive circuit; an electrode 15 provided on an undersurface of the top plate 10 so as to lie along a part of an outer periphery of the heating means 3; and an electric capacity detection part 8 for detecting electric capacity between the electrode 15 and a predetermined potential. The induction heating cooker is constituted such that the operation control part 7 detects boiling over from the heated object 30 based on a measurement result by the electric capacitance detection part 8 and a coarse and dense state of an electronic capacity region 16 on the top face of the top plate coating 20, which faces the electrode 15 is made different from the surrounding top coating 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
