<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless tag processing apparatus capable of making compatible improvement in processing efficiency of processing on a wireless tag and suppression of interference of radio waves transmitted to the wireless tag. <P>SOLUTION: As shown in (a), a sheet S is conveyed to a first suppression unit 71. Thereafter, as shown in (b), the conveyance of the sheet S is stopped so that each of tags T1-T8 provided on the sheet S faces each of readers/writers 61-68 provided in the first suppression unit 71. Thereafter, as shown by thick broken lines in (b), four readers/writers 62, 64, 65 and 67 which are disposed in a zigzag shape are operated among the eight readers/writers 61-68.
