<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to output received video information as a television signal. <P>SOLUTION: A receiver has: a LAN interface part for communication; a signal processing part decoding such as video information received by the LAN interface part; a video signal encode part reconstructing a video signal to which a synchronization signal is added from the decoded video information to generate a composite signal or separate signal; and an output terminal to which the composite signal or separate signal output by the video signal encode part is supplied.
