PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for forming a nonwoven having a pattern in a spunbonding process.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing the nonwoven comprises: a spunbonding apparatus for forming a first web of a nonwoven material on a first belt, and a meltblowing apparatus for forming a second web of a nonwoven material on a second belt. The method for producing the nonwoven comprises: moving the second belt in a direction opposite to a moving direction of the first belt; forming the webs; and depositing the second web on the first web to form a composite spunbond and meltblown web having a pattern therein.
