<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heated toilet seat device which can rapidly raise the temperature of a toilet seat up to a temperature which does not give a sensation of coldness when heating is started, and also preventing the influence of a magnetic field on a human body after sitting. <P>SOLUTION: The heated toilet seat device includes: a toilet seat body having a heat generation part constituted by a conductor; an induction heating coil for generating a magnetic field to induction-heat the heat generation part; a control part for controlling current passing to the induction heating coil; a human body detection part for detecting the presence of the human body; and a sitting action detection part for detecting the sitting action of a user on the toilet seat body. The control part starts a first heating mode for heating the toilet seat body by current passing to the induction heating coil when the human body detection part detects the presence of the human body, and shifts the same to a second heating mode where the amount of current passing to the induction heating coil is smaller than the amount of current passing in the first heating mode after the sitting action detection part detects the sitting action of the human body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
