<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitive sensor sheet which can be manufactured promptly and simply by reducing an area to be processed by laser etching and further can suppress waste, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A capacitive sensor sheet comprises first and second substrate layers 1 and 2 which are opposed and adhered. In the first substrate layer 1, an X pattern 10 is formed and in the second substrate layer 2, a Y pattern 20 is formed. The X pattern 10 is formed from X detection electrodes 11 arranged side by side at a predetermined interval in an X direction and dummy X electrodes 14 filling the intervals of the plurality of X detection electrodes 11. The plurality of X detection electrodes 11 and the dummy X electrodes 14 are formed by performing laser etching on a conductive film formed in the first substrate layer 1. Furthermore, the Y pattern 20 is formed from Y detection electrodes 21 arranged side by side at a predetermined interval in a Y direction and dummy Y electrodes 24 filling the intervals of the plurality of Y detection electrodes 21.
