<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PPAR-α activity regulating agent which excels in safety and has reduced side effects, preferably, a dual regulating agent for PPAR-α, γ activity which excels in safety and has reduced side effects. <P>SOLUTION: A PPAR-α activity regulating agent which excels in safety and has reduced side effects, preferably, a dual regulating agent for PPAR-α, γ activity which excels in safety, simultaneously activates PPAR-γ activity, and has reduced side effects is obtained by being incorporated with cryptoxanthin included in a mandarin orange or the like.
