<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating type heated toilet seat device for improving safety. <P>SOLUTION: The heated toilet seat device includes: a resonance circuit having an induction heating coil and a resonance capacitor; a conductor to be induction-heated by a magnetic field generated by the induction heating coil; a toilet seat with the conductor arranged therein; an inverter having a first switching element and controlling power to be supplied to the resonance circuit; a rectification part for rectifying a current to be supplied from a commercial power source; a decompression part having a second switching element, decompressing the rectification output of the rectification part, and supplying it to the inverter; a body control part for controlling the switching of the second switching element thereby to switch the decompression amount of the rectification output, to supply the same to the inverter, and to induction-heat the toilet seat; and a voltage detection part for detecting a supply voltage to be supplied to the inverter. When the supply voltage is higher than the voltage of a predetermined threshold when keeping the second switching element driven to be off, the performance of the induction heating is prohibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
