PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant-based forming material that is superior in flowability when molded while being capable of forming a molding compound with high water resistance.

SOLUTION: The plant-based biomass forming material includes: a first material consisting of the plant-based forming material in which heat-curable base resin is impregnated; and a second material consisting of one or more kinds of plant-based biomass material in which one or more kinds of additive selected from compounds thermal-curing the base resin and compounds enhancing a thermal-curing reaction of the base resin.
