LAMINATED POLYESTER FILM, AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base film capable of making a high quality print by preventing unevenness of a slipping layer from affecting image transfer in the process of printing.

SOLUTION: There is disclosed a laminated polyester film including a polyester film (a layer A) and a layer B disposed at least on one side thereof, with the thickness of the polyester film (the layer A) being from 0.5 to 10 μm and the number of surface defects on the layer B being not greater than 10 pieces/25 cm2.
