<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal of which a pedal pad is hardly separated from a pedal arm. <P>SOLUTION: A pedal arm used for a parking brake device is pivotally fixed to a bracket at an upper end portion and is applied with operation load by a driver at a lower end portion. A pedal pad 4 is mounted to a mounting portion disposed at the lower end portion and a foot of the driver is placed thereon. The mounting portion has a concave shape in an operating direction of the driver and the operation load is received by a lower edge portion 8c of the mounting portion. The pedal pad 4 is pressed down against a lower edge portion 8c side of a stepping surface 8d due to the operation load. Therefore, the pedal pad 4 is configured so as to be hardly separated from the pedal arm, even if the driver performs step shifting operation on the pedal pad 4 from an upper edge portion 8a toward the lower edge portion 8c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
