<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-riding type vehicle that can reduce the assembly man-hour and the weight of a side cover in a structure having a glove box part for accommodating articles below a seat. <P>SOLUTION: A maintenance lid 45 is detachably provided below a seat 60 and between a front part 62L of a left side cover 46L and a front part 62R of a right side cover 46R. The length of the maintenance lid 45 in the vehicle width direction is about one half of the length of the seat 60 in the vehicle width direction. A glove box part 80 is mounted on an inner surface of the side cover 46L, and documents 81 can be taken out and placed in by opening the maintenance lid 45. Any maintenance lid need not be provided on the side cover. Thus, the structure of the side cover is simplified, and the weight of the side cover can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
