<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size of a double rotor type rotating electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: A rotating electric machine 1 includes a stator 2 which comprises a stator core 6 having radial teeth 13 and axial teeth 18 and a stator coil 7 wound around the stator core 6. The rotating electric machine 1 further includes: a radial rotor 3A having radial projecting poles 24 opposing to the radial teeth 13; and an axial rotor 3B having axial projecting poles opposing to the axial teeth 18. Thus, in this double rotor type, since the two rotors are disposed separately in the radial direction and the axial direction, a size of a body type in the radial direction of the rotating electric machine 1 can be reduced.
