<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white film excellent in reflectance and hiding properties, particularly, to provide a white film having a high reflectance and high light diffusion properties and suitable as a reflecting member for a surface light source. <P>SOLUTION: The white film is a film having bubbles containing a void nucleating agent within the film. In respective bubbles, when obtaining the ratio (L/R) of the length (L) of the bubble in a surface direction of the film to the length (R) of the bubble in the thickness direction of the film, voids, whose (L/R) is 1.5 to <5, account for ≥50% of the total void area, and the white film has a specific gravity of ≤1.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
