PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing maluspumila mill extract is provided to effectively suppress mRNA expression of 5-alpha reductase and to ensure high moisturization effect. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for reducing pores contains an ethyl acetate fraction of maluspumila mill peel as an active ingredient. A cosmetic composition for suppressing sebum secretion contains the fraction as an active ingredient. A maluspumila mill extract is prepared by extracting with water, anhydrous or hydrous low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms(methanol, ethanol, propanol, butanol), acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, 1,3-butylene glycol, or a mixture thereof. The extract is the ethyl acetate fraction of maluspumila mill peel.
