摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal complex pigment composition having high solubility in a solvent; a photoelectric conversion element having high photoelectric conversion efficiency; and a photoelectrochemical cell. <P>SOLUTION: The metal complex pigment represented by the following general formula (1): M<SP POS="POST">1</SP>(LL<SP POS="POST">1</SP>)<SB POS="POST">m1</SB>(LL<SP POS="POST">2</SP>)<SB POS="POST">m2</SB>(Z<SP POS="POST">1</SP>)<SB POS="POST">2</SB>(CI<SP POS="POST">1</SP>)<SB POS="POST">m3</SB>, and a metal complex pigment composition including a metal complex pigment having a specific structure at a content of 0.5-5% by area detected at 254 nm of HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) are provided.
