<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming electrophotographic images efficiently developing gloss and further improving the gloss by enlarging a contrast of the gloss between a part having a transparent toner image formed thereon and a part not formed thereon, and to provide a process cartridge capable of using the image forming method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for forming electrophotographic images includes: a chromatic-color toner image forming step for fixing a chromatic-color toner image comprising one type or more chromatic-color toners on a recording medium; and a transparent toner image forming step for fixing a transparent toner image comprising a transparent toner superposed on the chromatic-color toner image and partially or wholly increasing the glossiness by the transparent toner image. In the transparent tone image forming step, the surface of the chromatic-color toner image to be the ground onto which the transparent toner image is superposedly fixed has an Sm value of 50 to 350 (μm). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
