<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video conference apparatus and a video conference system capable of photographing a photographing object corresponding to a photographing condition of the photographing object. <P>SOLUTION: The video conference apparatus first detects a position of the photographing object in initial setting processing, simultaneously acquires a kind of the photographing object and the photographing condition from the photographing object, and performs photographing setting for photographing (S20). Then, when an instruction of the photographing object is received from a user (S30:YES), the photographing setting of the instructed photographing object is read (S40), and the photographing setting of the instructed photographing object is performed again. Then, photographing control for performing photographing is performed from photographing means according to the condition of the photographing setting (S60).
