<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a pulse wave component according to the change if the variation speed of a cuff pressure is changed in an electronic blood pressure meter. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic blood pressure meter includes a cuff 1, a decompression control means 12 for pressurizing or depressurizing the interior of the cuff 1, and a cuff pressure detection means 2 for detecting the pressure in the interior of the cuff 1. The pulse wave component is extracted in the process of reducing the pressure in the interior of the cuff 1 by the decompression control means 12, and a blood pressure value is determined based on the extracted pulse wave component. The decompression control means 12 controls the speed of reducing the cuff pressure to become gradually slower according to the cuff pressure detected by the cuff pressure detection means 2 in the process of depressurizing the cuff 1 after pressurizing the cuff 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
