LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition further superior than the prior art and improved in insulation performance, abrasion resistance and seize resistance while retaining the performance necessary for lubrication of a transmission and other machinery.

SOLUTION: There is provided a lubricating oil composition, in which (A) a lubricating base oil is compounded with (B) at least one phosphorus compound selected from phosphorus compounds having at least one hydroxyl group and/or thiol group, (C) an ash-free dispersant having a nitrogen-containing functional group as the dispersing group is contained so that the nitrogen amount is <0.001 mass% in terms of the total amount of the composition or no such dispersant is contained, and the volume resistivity at 80°C is ≥5×108Ω m.
