<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system capable of smoothly charging an electric vehicle and a charging system without giving damage to them. <P>SOLUTION: A charging system includes: a power reception part 13 disposed on a side part 12 of an electric vehicle 11 and having a power reception coil 35 electrically connected to a power storage device of the vehicle 11; a body 16 having a support member 14 supported so as to be tiltable toward the power reception part 13 of the side part 12 of the vehicle 11 in parking state for charging; and a power supply part 15, disposed at the end of the support member 14, having a power supply coil 31 electromagnetically connected to the power reception coil 35 of the power reception part 13 for supplying charging power from a power source to the power reception part 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
