<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method and apparatus for effectively reducing the content of volatile heavy metals such as mercury contained in an exhaust gas exhausted from a cement production facility. <P>SOLUTION: The method and apparatus for reducing heavy metal in an exhaust gas from a cement production facility is configured as follows: a combustion exhaust gas exhausted from a preheater 2 is branched into two paths; when a raw material crushing apparatus 6 is in operation, the exhaust gas exhausted from the preheater 2 is discharge to the outside through a precipitation chamber 4, the raw material crushing apparatus 6, a dust collecting apparatus 7, a bag filter apparatus 8 and an outside exhaust means 11, and a part of the exhaust gas exhausted from the preheater is passed through a ceramic filter apparatus 9 and thereafter joins an exhaust gas from the precipitation chamber 4 on a provided path short of the raw material crushing apparatus 6; and also when the raw material crushing apparatus 6 is in non-operation, the treatment can be carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
