<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine cover and an engine soundproof structure capable of efficiently preventing leakage of noise generated from an engine and an apparatus protrudingly provided at the engine to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: A body cover 10 comprising a multilayer structure of an outer sound insulating layer 16 and an inner sound absorption layer 18 comprising a foam molding is mounted to an engine while the inner sound absorption layer 18 is disposed opposite a mounting surface of the apparatus 74 in the engine to cover the apparatus 74 with a gap, and an intermediate cover 12 comprising a foam molding that is separate from and independent of the body cover 10 is mounted to the engine by arranging the intermediate cover in a space between the body cover 10 and the apparatus 74 mounting surface of the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
