<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system capable of recognizing words spoken by a communication party not only as voice but also as character information. <P>SOLUTION: An intercom system includes on a room master unit 2, a master unit voice character converter 28 which obtains voice of a resident input to a voice switch 27 for converting into character data; and a slave unit voice character converter 29 which obtains voice of a visitor from an entrance slave unit 1 input into the voice switch for converting into character data. In the system, a function to convert the character data converted by the master unit voice character converter 28 into image data, and a function to convert the character data converted by the slave unit voice character converter 29 into image data are provided on a master unit CPU 31, and a slave unit monitor 17 for displaying the character data on the entrance slave unit 1 and a master unit monitor 25 for displaying the character data on the room master unit 2 are provided in a salve unit CPU 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
