<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door mirror lighting unit that increases the amount of light to be guided from a light source to a vehicle rear end part of a light emitting part with an extremely simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The door mirror lighting unit includes a light emitting part 31 extended in a part of a housing cover on the vehicle front side of the door mirror attached to the vehicle. One end of the light emitting part is located in a front surface part of the housing cover 22 corresponding to the vehicle front. The other end (vehicle rear end part) of the light emitting part is located in a side surface part of the housing cover corresponding to the side of the vehicle. The door mirror lighting unit includes light sources 34 disposed side by side along an extending direction of the light emitting part 31, and a lightguide part 35 formed integrally with the light emitting part 31 between the light sources 34 and the light emitting part 31 to guide the light from the light sources 34 to the light emitting part 31. A through hole 40a is formed in a part close to the light emitting part 31 of the lightguide part 3. The light from at least one light sources is guided to the other end (vehicle rear end part) of the light emitting part 31, using a part of a side wall surface 40aR of the through hole 40a as a reflection surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
