<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the surface temperature of a defrosting device below the ignition temperature of a flammable refrigerant while increasing the heating value of the defrosting device to shorten a defrosting time. <P>SOLUTION: The defrosting device 5 arranged under a cooler 2 to defrost the cooler 2 is composed of: a glass tube 6, a heater wire 7 consisting of an iron chromium wire having a diameter of 0.21 mm, which generates heat with energization, arranged in the glass tube 6, and whose central portion except both ends is wound helically; a lead wire 10 connected with a lead part 9 of the heater wire 7; and a plug 11 having a hole where the lead wire 10 passes through and covering both end openings of the glass tube 6. Winding the center portion of the glass tube 6 except both ends thereof helically elongates the glass tube 6 and the heater wire 7 in the glass tube 6 (widens the surface area for a heat generating part), and increases the heating value of the defrosting device 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
