MOTOR, AND DISK DRIVE DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-reliable motor having a high shock resistance and a high rotation performance while being small in size.

SOLUTION: A motor has: a sleeve 3 supporting a rotor shaft 5 freely rotatably and having a flange part 3B formed in an outer peripheral part; a cylindrical sleeve holding tool 2 holding the sleeve 3; a rotor hub 6 having an annular wall part 6A concentric with the rotor shaft 5 and rotating integrally with the rotor shaft 5; and a cylindrical inner body 8 fixed inside the annular wall part 6A of the rotor hub 6 so as to surround the sleeve 3 and the sleeve holding tool 2, and whose one end surface 8f is thrust against a shaft line direction inner surface 6Bf of the rotor hub 6. To an inner peripheral part of the inner body 8, an annular convex part 8A sandwiched between the flange part 3B of the sleeve 3 and one end surface of the sleeve holding tool 2 is formed, and a thrust bearing part TB1 where lubricant is interposed is formed between the annular convex part 8A and the flange part 3B, and a thrust bearing part TB2 where lubricant is interposed is formed between the annular convex part 8A and one end surface of the sleeve holding tool 2.
