<p>The system has a sensor arrangement (1) for detecting and monitoring a parameter e.g. acceleration, indicating an accident, and for outputting time-series sensor arrangement-output signals. A database (7) stores a reference time series for accident-typical signal characteristics. A microcontroller (6) evaluates the arrangement-output signals by algorithms of a pattern detection based on or under comparison with the stored reference time series. A triggering device triggers accident protection components e.g. avalanche airbag, during detection of impending or currently happening accident. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for protecting a person against accident (2) a computer program product comprising instructions for performing a method for protecting a person against accident.</p> |
