<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable use of a carrier sense level optimal for an intermittent operation and flexible adjustment of the carrier sense level when performing a reception operation intermittently for a predetermined period. <P>SOLUTION: A communication device includes radio communication means having a carrier sense part, transmission control means, reception control means, and carrier sense switching means for switching a carrier sense level of the carrier sense part to a level at receiving a packet. Further, the transmission control means causes start-request packets to be continually transmitted incessantly at transmission of a data packet, and causes the data packet to be transmitted after receiving a start-response packet; the carrier sense part intermittently performs plural times of carrier sense for a predetermined period; the reception control means, having received a start-request packet within a predetermined reception period after starting with the intermittent carrier sense, causes a transmission destination to respond with a start-response packet and stands by to receive data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
