BACKLIGHT DEVICE AND LIGHT GUIDE PLATE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight device that can make uniform luminance on a light emitting face to obtain luminance uniformity of irradiation light.

SOLUTION: The backlight device includes a light guide plate 10 which has a light emitting face 10a for emitting light, a step part 23 formed on a face 10b opposing the light emitting face 10a, and a light incident face 23b on a side face of the step part 23; a light source 15 which is arranged facing the light incident face 23b and guides light from the light incident face 23b into the light guide plate 10; a reflection sheet 11 which is arranged on the face 10b different from the light emitting face 10a of the light guide plate 10 and reflects the light incident into the light guide plate 10 to the light emitting face 10a; and a low reflection part 25 having a low light reflection ratio provided on a face 23a on a light emitting face 10a side of the step part 23.
