<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce load at the time of connection of a mechanism on a device body side and a mechanism on a re-conveying unit side. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a device-side transfer mechanism 210 which is provided in a device body and receives driving force from a drive source and a re-conveying unit that includes a re-conveying side transfer mechanism 110 which is connected with the device-side transfer mechanism 210 and transmits driving force to a re-conveying roller and that is detachable from the device body. The re-conveying side transfer mechanism 110 is provided with a load off mechanism 300 for releasing the stress to be applied to the re-conveying side transfer mechanism 110 when the re-conveying unit is mounted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
