<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the risk of degradation of a switching element in an induction heating device which uses a current resonance circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The induction heating device includes: a power source part E1 which applies a power source voltage Vin between both ends of a series circuit of switching elements Q1, Q2; a second series circuit which is a series circuit of an exciting coil 531 and a capacitor C1 and is parallel-connected to the switching element Q1; diodes D1, D2 which are parallel-connected to the switching elements Q1, Q2; a control part 41 which generates current resonance by alternately performing first processing to turn on the switching element Q2 during an on-time period shorter than half of a resonance cycle and second processing to turn on the switching element Q1 during the on-time period for every switching cycle as time obtained by adding the on-time period and dead time; and a forced-off part 42 which turns off the switching element Q1 forcedly when a voltage Vs between both ends of the switching element Q1 exceeds a set voltage V1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
