METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COLOR FILTER FOR DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter for a display device in which a pattern thereof is formed on a flexible transparent substrate, in large quantities with good dimensional accuracy.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a color filter for a display device comprises the steps of: temporarily fixing a sheet-shaped flexible transparent substrate on a transfer carrier which is continuously delivered; forming a color pattern on the surface of the temporarily fixed flexible transparent substrate; heat-treating the flexible transparent substrate on which the color pattern is formed; and separating the heat-treated flexible transparent substrate and the transfer carrier.
