<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cable cutter easy in cutting work of a cable. <P>SOLUTION: The electric cable cutter C used in combination with a standard hand-held tool working as a power source includes: a housing 1 as a gear box; a pair of cutting blades 11, 12 supported on the housing, opening and closing relative to each other; a pair of orthogonal gears 4, 5 to which power from the hand-held tool is input; a drive shaft 6 having an eccentric shaft part 6a attached to an output gear on the side of the pair of orthogonal gears; a differential gear mechanism 7 decelerating rotation of the drive shaft; and an Oldham joint correcting eccentric rotation of an output gear on the differential gear mechanism side to rotation around a center line. Outer teeth 12a meshing with an output gear on the Oldham joint side are formed in the arcuate outer surface of one of the pair of cutting blades, which is supported on the other cutting blade pivotally for opening and closing, and an input gear on the side of the pair of orthogonal gears is connected with the hand-held tool via an adapter pin 13 which is detachable through one-touch operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
