PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing information management method which is suitable for showing photographed images and information on photographed spots on a display screen without adding major improvements or mechanisms to a photographing device body.

SOLUTION: A photographing information management method is provided which includes an identify determination step of determining whether photographed spot information attached to photographed images saved in an external storage medium removably attached to a photographing device and photographed spot information stored in the internal memory of the photographing device are identical, and an information display step which, when the two pieces of photographed spot information are determined to be identical, shows the photographed spot information and images from the image files on the display screen of the photographing device.
