<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front body of a vehicle which can improve the driving stability of a vehicle as well as absorb a shock by its sub frame when a frontal collision load is applied from the front of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A front side frame 16 has a front-side horizontal part 22 extending nearly horizontally to the rear from the top of a vehicle, a sloping part 23 extending obliquely downward from the front side horizontal part toward the rear of the vehicle body, and a floor-side horizontal part 24 extending nearly horizontally from the sloping part 23 toward the rear, and a sub-frame-side rear fixing part 56 is provided on the rear part 17b of a sub-frame 17, which is fixed through a bracket 31 connected to the sloping part 23, creating a deformation-tolerable space S1 between itself and the sloping part 23, and the bracket 31, to which the sub-frame-side rear fixing part 56 to be connected to at least the sloping part 23 of the front side frame 16 is being attached from its bottom with collar nuts 32, is welded around the outer edge 47, and a stay 21 is set up, which has at least an upper surface 61 and a matched pair of side surfaces 62, 62, and connects the sub-frame-side rear fixing part 56 to a floor-side horizontal part 24 in a back and forth direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
