METHOD FOR MEASURING INTRAPERITONEAL PRESSURE IN POSTOPERATIVE PATIENTS

A method for measuring intraperitoneal pressure in postoperative patients provides for the use of low pressure manometer. After the principal stage of the surgery, the rubber balloon is installed through skin puncture on the lateral surface of abdomen between peritoneum and aponeurosis. The balloon is connected in pressure-tight mode with the tube of air pump and the low-pressure manometer. 5 cubical mm of air are pumped into the rubber balloon providing for the working volume inside the balloon. The changes of the volume will be recorded by low-pressure manometer.
