The lamp base has retaining portions (36,38,40) for supporting the lamp holder. The silicone damping elements (46,48,50) are arranged at retaining portions respectively. The damping elements are arranged in base recesses. The retaining portions have arc shaped cross-section provided in transverse direction. A ring (34) is arranged transverse to lamp longitudinal axis. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) lamp holder; and (2) lamp device.
