<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for supporting selection of appropriate standard components regardless of arbitrary input information on a user about specification items for determining the actual production of components and the similarity of the components. <P>SOLUTION: A product information management support device determining standard product information based on the past actual product information comprises: product information storage means storing actual information including requirement specifications, component configurations, component specifications and costs of the past; component similarity calculation means calculating the similarity of actual components from the component specifications; component standardization effect calculation means calculating the effect of standardization of the actual components in a range classified by the similarity; and standardization analysis result display means displaying a standardization range of the actual components together with the standardization effect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
