<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can allow a rolled recording medium to be easily set without the need to manually open/close a holder mechanism that holds the recording medium when setting the same. <P>SOLUTION: The printer includes a rib that prevents jamming caused by back feed of a rolled recording medium, and a holder mechanism that holds rolled recording medium with two opposed holding members. The rib is so configured as to transfer downward from a predetermined disposition position when depressed by a user, and move upward and return to the disposition position when the depression is released. The two holding members are so configured as to move to get away from each other in conjunction with the downward movement of the rib and move to come close to each other in conjunction with the upward movement of the rib. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
