<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular brake device by a brake-by-wire suppressing overshoot of fluid pressure applied to a wheel cylinder when starting a motor driving cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicular brake device 1 includes: a master cylinder 15 mechanically connected to a brake pedal 11; wheel cylinders 2b and 3b connected to the master cylinder 15 via pipes 42a and 42b; on-off valves 24a and 24b provided on the pipes 42a and 42b; a pedal position sensor 11a for detecting pedal operation amount of the brake pedal 11; the motor driving cylinder 13 connected to a portion between the on-off valves 24a and 24b of the pipes 42a and 42b and the wheel cylinders 2b and 3b to supply fluid pressure to the pipes 42a and 42b; and control means 6 for controlling the on-off valves 24a and 24b and the motor driving cylinder 13. The control means 6 maintains opened states of the on-off valves 24a and 24b when starting driving of the motor driving cylinder 13 and closes the on-off valves 24a and 24b after the starting of driving of the motor driving cylinder 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
