The supercharger has a turbine arranged in a hot housing (13), which is partially formed to drive an exhaust system of the turbine. The exhaust system comprises a waste gate (17) that is controllable by an actuator (16). The waste gate is partially and actively connected with the actuator by a Bowden cable. The Bowden cable is fastened at a fixed part (15) e.g. chassis or body. The Bowden cable is formed of a protective sheath (11) and a towing rope (12). The actuator moves the towing rope relative to the protective sheath.
