PURPOSE: An antenna for a portable terminal is provided to effectively use a space by transmitting and receiving a signal of broadband using a metal ring for surrounding the side of a main body or the main body. CONSTITUTION: A first radiation unit(251) comprises a first arm having first length and a second arm having second length. The second length is different of the first length. A feeding unit(255) feeds a signal to the first radiation unit. A short circuit unit disconnects the first radiation unit and a ground plane. A second radiation part(253) is near-field-combined with the first radiation unit. A tuning arm is connected to a first radiator. The second radiation part is formed into a ring shape of conductive material for surrounding one or more planes of a main body.
