摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geometric converter of image data, and the like which processes both the pixel value compensation of defective pixels of an imaging means and distortion compensation of image data, photographed by the imaging means, at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The geometric converter has a geometric conversion table which associates positional information (X1, Y1) of an input pixel of an input image to be input by the imaging means 11 with positional information (X0, Y0) of the output pixel of an output image, and further stores defect information of the input pixel; a geometric conversion means 22 for extracting the positional information of the input pixel, corresponding to the positional information of the output pixel from the geometric conversion table 21 and calculating the pixel value of the output pixel, by using pixel values of a plurality of first vicinity pixels (A-D) within predetermined distance from the position of the extracted positional information of the input pixel. When there is a defective pixel in a first vicinity pixel, the geometric conversion means 22 calculates the pixel value of the output pixel, by using the pixel value of the first vicinity pixel, other than the defective pixel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
