<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor support structure which can rotate a rotor for a long time preventing the rotor from wearing without setting a washer and the image forming unit which has this support structure. <P>SOLUTION: A grease sump part 106 having a first annular groove 106A and a second annular groove 106B is provided on a seat face 104 of a photoreceptor frame 46, and a circular recessed part 118 is provided on an end face 94D of a second reduction helical gear 94. Thereby, grease 108 evaporates at a friction part 110 where the grease 108 scrapes with a cylindrical part 94C of the second reduction herical gear 94 and the end face 94D when the second reduction helical gear 94 rotates. However, the grease 108 which is filled up in the second annular groove 106 and constitutes an open part 112 is supplied to the first annular groove 106A through a feed part 106C.
