<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor equipped with a ventilation filter of high strength, while maintaining gas permeability and water repellency of the ventilation filter. <P>SOLUTION: This gas sensor 1 is provided with a sensor element 2 extended axially to detect a specified gas component in a gas to be measured, the body metal 4 of projecting a tip side of the sensor element 2 more than an end of own tip part to be exposed to the gas to be measured, and for surrounding the periphery of the sensor element 2, an outer cylindrical member 11 arranged in a rear end side inside of the body metal 4, and a sealing member 13, fixed in a rear side of the sensor element 2 and in a rear end side inside of the outer cylindrical member 11, and formed with an atmosphere inlet hole 132 axially penetrated, and is provided further with a calking part 115 for holding the sealing member 13; a cylindrical member 134 contacting with an inner circumferential face of the atmosphere inlet hole 132 to be opposed to the calking part 115; and a metal filter 133 jointed to the rear side of the calking part 115, in a rear end side of the cylindrical member 134. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
