OCEANOGRAPHIC OBSERVATION STATION FOR HEIGHT AND DIRECTION MEASURING OF A WAVE

PURPOSE: An oceanographical observation device for measuring the wave height and a wave direction of seawater are provided to have no need to float a plurality of oceanographical observation devices for measuring the wave height and a wave direction of seawater. CONSTITUTION: An oceanographical observation device for measuring the wave height and a wave direction of seawater comprises a float(10), a wave height measuring member(20), a wave direction measuring member(30), and a transmission device(40). The float is a shape of a circular arc in which a bottom portion is gradual. The float is a streamlined shape and floats in the sea. The wave height measuring member is embedded in the float, thereby measuring the weight height(H) of the seawater. The wave direction measuring member is installed in the top of the float, thereby measuring a wave direction of the seawater. The transmission device is installed in the float, thereby transmits data of the wave height and wave direction of the wave height and wave direction measuring members to a base station(B) on the ground.
