PURPOSE: A boiler-type regenerative combustion apparatus with a volatile organic compound absorbent as fuel is provided to guarantee an excellent energy recovery rate with a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A boiler-type regenerative combustion apparatus(10) with a volatile organic compound absorbent(14) as fuel comprises a housing(1), a perforated plate(4), an air inflow pipe(3), a heat storage material(5), a hot air recovery pipe(7), and an auxiliary recovery pipe(8), The perforated plate is installed in the lower part of the housing, and the absorbent is placed on the perforated plate. The air inflow pipe is connected to the bottom of the housing, and extended from a blower(2). The upper and lower spaces of the heat storage material are connected each other by the hot air recovery pipe. The hot air recovery pipe comprises an exhauster(7a). The auxiliary recovery pipe is extended form the upper part of the heat storage material, and connected to the air inflow pipe.
