PURPOSE: A primer for detecting mycoplasma hyoneumoniae, a detection kit for mycoplasma hyoneumoniae using the same, a diagnosis kit for swine enzootic pneumonia using the primer, and a method thereof are provided to enhance specificity and sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A primer for detecting mycoplasma hyoneumoniae comprises a pair of primers described in the sequence number 1 and 2. The primer detects the mycoplasma hyoneumoniae by targeting protein P97 region which is specific for species. The method for detecting the mycoplasma hyoneumoniae is processed by polymerase chain reaction(PCR) by using the primer. The method for diagnosing the mycoplasmal pneumonia of swine enzootic pneumonia(SEP) is operated by the PCR using the primer. A detection kit for the mycoplasma hyoneumoniae uses PCR. The detection kit for mycoplasma hyoneumoniae includes the primer. The detection kit for mycoplasma hyoneumoniae additionally includes a reaction buffer solution and DNA polymerase.
