PURPOSE: A beverage extracting device and method are provided to supply liquid through the top cover of a capsule and extract beverage, with facilitated loading and unloading of the capsule. CONSTITUTION: A beverage extracting device comprises a tray(541) for mounting a capsule in an upright position, a liquid supply punch(543) protruding through the tray and opening the capsule to supply liquid, a discharge punch(546) opening the capsule to discharge beverage, a cavity collecting the beverage in the rear of the tray, and an opening and closing unit opening and closing the discharge path of the beverage. |
